Nach Wikipedia handelt es sich dabei um
ein[en] in den sozialen Medien entstandene[n] ästhetische[n] Stil, der seine Inspiration aus einer romantischen Betrachtung des klassischen Mode- und Einrichtungsbilds englischer Eliteuniversitäten und solcher der US-Neuengland-Bundesstaaten bezieht.
Mittlerweile hat sich auch ein eigenes Literaturgenre entwickelt.
